The Select
After many requests, Alison designed The Select as a beautiful, elegant, and functional way to serve a dozen oysters. It offers just enough depth for a bed of crushed ice and a layer of oysters. Although oysters are at the heart of its design, the piece offers much versatility - uses can range from a centerpiece, a fruit bowl, or a catch-all for keys and change in the entryway. Exterior is textured with a smooth interior, just as an oyster shell.
As used by the Boothbay Harbor Country Club.

This platter is essential to any oyster lovers dish collection. It serves six oysters on the half shell; the grooves help keep the shells upright so the liquid doesn’t spill from the shell. The platter is purposefully thick and can be placed in the freezer to chill so the messiness of ice can be avoided. This platter may also be used in the oven for dishes such as Oysters Rockefeller. To avoid thermal shock, do not place a warm dish in the freezer or a cold dish in a hot oven. Designed with the Condiment Dish (as featured in Mint and Charcoal) for oyster accoutrements.

This condiment dish is textured on the bottom and features three shallow bowls designed to hold the magic trio of mignonette sauce, lemon wedges, and cocktail sauce to serve with oysters. The dish is designed to accompany the Traditional Oyster Platter (as shown in Mint and Charcoal).

This is Alison Evans’ signature piece and a great centerpiece for any table. It is the sculptural representation of an oyster and balances on three "feet." This bowl can also function as a fruit bowl, salad serving bowl, or be filled with crushed ice to serve oysters or shellfish; the Small Sauce Bowl can then be nestled in the foot to hold mignonette, cocktail sauce, or lemons.
